You may call me an idiot. Ungracious. Hateful. Prideful. Christless. Hellyun. Needing salvation or a host of other names that I cannot mention on this site. But I am going to be drop dead honest here. I heard on the radio that prisoners here in Texas will be receiving the H1N1 virus vaccination before the general public. I have a problem with this, a big problem. Why? Because in my honest opinion I think those who have not been convicted of a crime should get it before those who have been. That’s just my honest opinion.

I understand that just because someone is in prison (whether really guilty or not) this does not mean they are any less human than I am. Their life is no less precious or important than mine. More importantly God cares for me no more than he cares for them.

Hearing that news lets me know that I have a lot more growing to do in the area of human dignity.

How do you feel about the news that inmates will get the H1N1 vaccination before the general public?

Let the chastisement being. Fire away in the comments below.

I love theology and the challenge of making deep teachings non-boring. Let's face it, most of the time we hear theological teaching, it really is boring. Does it really have to be that way? Nope.

You may be right. But I wonder if someone disagrees and is too embarrassed to actually call me out on it. Ha!

I see that you have not gotten the chastisement that you were expecting. It would seem that silence speaks volumes and maybe people agree with you. I'm Just saying
