Whoa....just watched the Francis Chan vimeo...wow. "I would be hypocritical if I didn't go..." Man...I'm so touched by what he had to say and more so by what he is doing. So often we have many willing to teach the truth, but when it comes time for the rubber to meet the road, they hit the brakes and stay put. Why can't there be more Godly leaders like him?

The article by Trevin Wax had some good points and was eloquently written. My heart goes out to Jennifer Knapp, but even more to those who she claims are giving her spiritual counsel.

I'm saying that I wish the military saw christians as a threat to their mission in the same way that they see gays as a threat to their mission.

I don't suppose I understand what you are saying. Are you saying that she should be disqualified from Christian service?

Its sad that by announcing that she is gay, Knapp has disqualified herself from service in the US military, but coming out as a christian doesn't achieve the same goal.
